I was hired as the 1st AD on this project. It is a production of the AFI Directing Workshop for Women. My Director is the first ever female military veteran to be selected into the program. Pretty awesome huh?

We shot in a variety of locations to include the Disney Ranch and the Z Ranch. They were pretty intense locations with so much to offer. The crew size was decent and changed daily. The producer was pulling every favor she could to make this film happen. 

The DP and Director worked in the past on a project for ABC and linked up on this project, so there was harmony amongst the creative heads. 

The talent was amazing! They were very flexible with filming and stayed excited about the project until the very end. It was a bittersweet end when I called wrap.

Several military veterans pulled together to help the Director and boy were they helpful. It was refreshing being surrounded by so many vets, with one mission in mind.
