Set in the 1950s, this is a true story of how young Sonia learns a tough lesson of how to stand up to a neighborhood bully who keeps stealing her toy Jacks. 

This story was written and directed by Chloe Mondesir who hails from the great state of Texas and is currently living in Los Angeles, CA who is a Public Figure pursuing a career as an, Actress, Writer/Producer/Director.  She brings a personal touch with her inaugural film project by sharing this true tale of just one of her grandmother's struggles growing up in rural Texas after the Great Depression. This short film expresses her desire to explore real stories that her audience can relate to, learn from, and be entertained. 

We are currently in post production and just reached picture lock!  We need help raising funds to complete the post production process with color correction, sound design, scoring, closed captioning and titles.  We have a star studded cast as well as a few newcomers! Help us complete this film by donating as little as $5! We are in need of a total of $2,000 so anything helps. We would like to submit to some local film festivals as well as abroad, so stay tuned for more information and opportunities to donate.
