ECHOSWORLD::Can't Get Enough//Music Video

Yesterday I assisted directed a music video for the song "Can't Get Enough" by hip hop artist Peter Jackson feat. Jadakiss, Styles P, Sheek Louch and JayVado. When I heard the concept in the pre-production meeting I was excited to see the production unfold since I had never worked on a set with nudity and porn stars.

It's a narrative (inspired by the film "Eyes Wide Shut") following the corruption and exploration of an innocent virgin-esque young woman when she happens upon a den of dominatrices and debs. She walks around this den witnessing masked women tied up and being dominated while a few others just watched. She is beckoned by a very voluptuous maitresse, then taken to a room where she is tied up, undressed and fondled. Very sexual and seductive.

We started a little behind schedule (waiting on talent to show), but that was expected. Once things got rolling, it was smooth sailing from there. We shot with a RED camera and used a jib and spider dolly amongst other things. Two journalist from NPR showed up to document the production and interview the Vets and talent on set. It was very busy on set.

I must say that I have respect for the ladies that were on set to perform for Jeff on camera and be totally professional off camera. The ladies had a great sense of humor and really took direction well. I happy to report that we wrapped on time so my track record is still good.
