SHORT FILM:: "Jeremy" Scouting Locations - Applewood

"Jeremy", a coming of age, crime suspense drama written by first time writer, Jonathan Durrah, alongside industry veteran, Paquita Hughes joined by director Chloe Mondesir, following her directorial debut, dramatic short film "Jacks", currently on the festival market.

Logline: Jeremy makes a mature decision to leave his small-time, dope boy ways behind him when obligations of fatherhood surface, only to be tested by his closest friends, in a small town where loyalty runs deeper than blood.

SCOUTING LOCATIONS - APPLEWOOD

Executive Producers and writers of "Jeremy", Jonathan Durrah and Paquita Hughes, set their eyes on their childhood neighborhood, Applewood a low income housing complex, where both writers grew up as neighbors in the same building.

Last year the producers and Locations team began scouting locations in Columbus, MS for filming. To give you an idea of the setting of our film, take a gander at what could be the backdrop of this gritty tale.
